On April 12, 2017, about 0340 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 208C, PK-FSO, operated by PT. Spirit Avia Sentosa as an unscheduled cargo flight under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of Indonesia, collided with mountainous terrain 7 nautical miles north of Oksibil, Republic of Indonesia. The airplane was destroyed and the pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Indonesia.
