On July 20, 2017, at 1109 coordinated universal time, a Cirrus SR-20, Brazilian registration PR-PRF, was substantially damaged when it collided with terrain shortly after takeoff from Santa Edwiges farm, near the municipality of Santo Antônio do Leveger, Mato Grosso, Brazil. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The flight was enroute to Ponta Porã International Airport (SBPP), Ponta Porã, Brazil.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
