On July 21, 2017, about 1832 coordinated universal time, a Robinson R66 helicopter, Russian registration RA-05750, was substantially damaged when it impacted mountainous terrain near Maly Utrish township, while on a night flight from Anapa, Russia, to Abrau-Dyurso, Russia. The pilot was fatally injured.This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Interstate Aviation Committee of Russia.
