On August 25, 2017, about 0450 coordinated universal time, a Maule M7-260C airplane, Kazakhstan registration UP-ML003, impacted terrain during a forced landing near Zhideli, Kazakhstan. The pilot was fatally injured and the passenger sustained serious injuries.
