On July 5, 2017, a Schweizer 269C helicopter, French registration F-GHAF, experienced a dynamic rollover near Boinvilliers, France. During a simulated engine failure, the engine lost power. The instructor attempted to restart the engine unsuccessfully three times. During the autorotation, a skid caught on the ground, and the helicopter rolled onto its side.The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the French government.
