On February 28, 2018, about 0845 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Cessna 182P airplane, N609PC, had an inflight engine failure and subsequent forced landing near Abbeville, France. The pilot and passenger were uninjured, and the airplane sustained minor damage. The flight originated from the Le Touquet Cote D'Opale Airport (LFAT) and was destined for the Lognes Emerainvill Airport (LFPL).The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of France.
