The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) notified the NTSB of an incident involving a SAAB 340B airplane which occurred on August 29, 2019. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the ATSB investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of design and manufacture of the airplane engines.
