On August 16, 2019, at 1810 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 172M, ZS-LMI, collided with terrain near Pretoria, South Africa. Both occupants were fatally injured and the airplane was substantially damaged. The airplane was being operated under the pertinent civil regulations for the government of South Africa.
