A FORCED LANDING WAS MADE IN A ROUGH CORN FIELD, WHERE THE ACFT WAS DAMAGED. AN INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT AN IMPELLER DRIVE SHAFT BEARING SUPPORT HAD FAILED, CAUSING FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
